I'm looking to adopt a pit bull, great dane or bullmastiff. I prefer puppy or young dog, but will not rule out an older one that has already been well trained.



I am located in South NJ and would like to find something in my area.

Petfinder.com: Adopt a pet and help an animal shelter rescue a puppy or kitten.

Try pet shelters near your area. I'm sure you will find one. or try the adoptapet.com. I hope you'll find an adorable pet. good luck

I don't want to say the same thing over again, but yes, try looking at Petfinder. If they don't have what you want, do a good-ol-fashioned google search for breeders in your area. Though breeders these days, in my opinion, are way overpriced. So if your low on money, adoption might be your best bet, and you can sometimes get surprising results from petfinder. Who knows, your perfect pooch might be on there! Also, now that I think of it, I live in South PA, in Philly, and the Philly Paws Adoption Center is overflowing with pit bulls! It's where I got my dog, Hunter, a shepherd/cattledog mix. But 90% of the dogs are pitbulls, and there are some puppies as well. I can give you the link if your interested and it may not be too far from you.

I don't know if you found a dog yet but I do rescue and I currently have a beautiful staffordshire bull terrier for adoption. I was originally told he was a pit but I honestly think he is a stafforshire. Please contact by email if interested. I have pictures.
