Hi all!!
I'm writing from Spain (so forgive my annoying English, hehe) and want to introduce you my lovely Lupi (pronounced Loopy), a hunting dog who is waiting for a home.
She has a sad story. Was abandoned in front of my house after the hunting time and I fedded her everyday while waiting to the volunteer's phone call, since the shelter was full at that time. But one day, when I went to gave her the feed, I saw something moving behind her cabin... I approached and saw eight puppies!!!
I helplessly satrted to call to every shelter in the area, but all they were out the roof. The puppies couldn't stay there, 'cause the cabin could be seen from the street and any unscrupulous person could make them anything. Finally, one of the shelters answered: "We take them". I was sooooo happy, my Lupi and her puppies were saved!!
Fortunately, Lupi's puppies were quickly adopted, they were so cute. But Lupi hasn't had that much luck and now she is alone in the shelter. I've tried to find her a home here in Spain, but she sin't the typical little furry dog, though she's lovely.
Here's a photo in her olive-grove time:
Isn't she beautiful? She's about 2.5 - 3 years old and medium-sized, get on well with other dogs and with people. She's soooo loving and is always waiting for cuddles.
Here she lived with her puppies:
And now here she is in the shelter:
If somebody falls in love with this cute dog, or knows somebody who is interested, please write to me: sarosaripeta[at]yahoo.es and I will talk to the shelter's volunteers.
The adopter will pay for the travel, but anything else. Please, she deserves to have a home after her hard life, spread this message to everyone you can.
Thank you!!
