August of 2010 I left my emotionally and physically abusive husband in Canada and returned to Illinois. In doing so I had no choice but to leave my beautiful boxer girls behind. I had just gone through major surgery for cancer 6 weeks prior to leaving. I have had very little contact with him since I left. Yesterday I received an email stating he was going to be putting my girls on a plane sometime between May4th - May 14th at which time I will get a phone call to tell me when they are put on the plane with no further notice what so ever. These girls are 8 years old. Stitch my fawn boxer has gone through surgery herself to remove tumors. They stress out at the mere sight of a crate let alone being put in one. I am afraid for these girls. A flight will surely result in some sort of disaster for them. Not only that...I have no transportation available to me in which to make a very short notice 6 hour trip to Chicago to pick these babies of mine up.
Any suggestions here? He said if I do not agree to this then sign papers for an uncontested divorce he will contact a rescue society to have them given away. Which..He will more than likely turn them loose in the wild to fend for themselves in the Rocky mountains of canada because he is a very vindictive not nice person period.
