Lovely, young Pyrenees Mix showed up at my house. Gorgeous and incredibly smart. I have tried desperately to find her owners but have come to the conclusion that she has been dumped I already have 5 large dogs of my own and although I am in love with her, keeping her is just not possible for me. I'm thinking she is probably about a year old. She loves to play and is extremely affectionate.

She gets along very well with other dogs, cats and she doesn't even bother my ducks. She loves lying in the field with my horses!! She would make someone a fabulous companion. I have not had her evaluated by my vet yet but plan on doing it within the week. So I'm not sure if she has been spayed or not. She has been started on heartworm preventative and I gave her Frontline as soon as she showed up because she was covered in ticks.

Sorry, but posting this on a dog forum is not the solution. Place an ad on craigslist in your area in the lost and found. Double check the county and state laws regarding finding strays and how long you must wait before attempting to keep or re-home. Good luck.

I have already contacted all of my local shelters (which are full and have no calls about her), placed ads on classified radio programs, newspaper ads and made posters to hang locally. Just about exhausted all of the other means for finding a home. Craigslist says no pets!!!

I do not know what you are looking at but craigslist.org allows re-homing of pets. They have a pet section dedicated to this. You may want to check again and also the lost and found section on craigslist to see if someone has actually lost the dog.
