If the dog was a stray, how was it his dog??? I am confused?? if you dog killed someones dog, yes you can be sued, but it all depends on the circumstances. was the other dog on your property?? was it leashed?? was your dog on his property??? was he on a leash??? has anything like this happened before???

People sue for anything these days. Try to work it out with your neighbor and stay out of court.

I believe if you can prove the dog does not belong to you then you are not responsible for the strays. HOwever, if it happened on your property then you might be responsible.
