it chases you? i have a fear of dogs pls help me over come it. I cant walk anywhere!!!

Never turn your back on a dog and don't stare in it's eyes. If a stray does chase you, get in a safe location, then call animal control or the police and report it.

close your eyes, run as fast as u can and climb on the nearest tree. and hope someone would come and rescue u.

well you're not sposta run. never look an animal in the eye, it is considered a challenge. Slowly back away and speak softly and re-assuringly so the dog doesn't think you are looking for confrontation. Hopefully by then you will be at a safe distanace and can get away !

I like DUMDOG1964 answer about Cesar Millan. I watched that episode too, and he says to just keep walking and don't look at the dog if the dog is not bothering you. Plus, don't talk to the dog! I have had several occasions where I have been walking and a stray has been around. Now sometimes they are freindly and just want some human contact. Others are not so nice. Most who are not nice just bark and keep their distance. I have not had to run away from any or have not been chased. I hope that my dog will defend me if I get attacked which she would do, cause she'll fight if the other dog starts something.
