i live in spain and im absolutly sick of the way animals are treated over here even more so because saturaday i was on my way to an Bday party and just off the motorway turning my boyfriend stoped to have a wee, there he found an dumped puppy we dont know what happend to her she was shaking with shock her face was overed in blood but she wore a little puppy harnes, we took her back to my boyfriends house there was no way i was going to leave her she was breathing i wouldnt of been able to live with myself,
now my boyfriends parents wont let us keep her there cause they have 3 dogs and i had 2 myself and my parents wont let us keep her in my house,
worst of all she cant walk we dont know what has happend and we have to leave her in a little shed at night and its awful, my boyfriend is a mechanic and takes her to work with him cause he cant bear to leave her on her own and i live a distance away from him, i phoned a animal protechion shelter thats about an 6 hours drive from me and they said not to give her to an dogs home because they will kill her and they gave me a number of an place thats closer to me but when i phoned them and explained to them what happend they just said, "well what do you want us to do about it" as if they didnt care so theres no way im takin her there, if we can help her and cure her im goin to do all that i can its sad because we are both fallin for her shes so sweet she gets uncomfortable because of her legs and crys so i cradle her and she gos to sleep all peacefull, im really cut up about this iv never had anything like this happen to me if i had my own place i would keep her for myself, people dont seem to care over here, im not goin to give up on her,
tomorrow my boyfriends takin her to the vets he thought her legs would get better but there not and i suppose the vets will say if they can help or not or if it would be better to put her to sleep

Certainly sounds like you are stuck in a rut! Maybe your vet will be able to help with a foster home if the animal shelter won't help(which it sounds like they are "slightly" unhelpful). If the vet can't help maybe advertise her locally in the paper, on the net try to pull some suckers heart strings(there is bound to be a few around). I have heard here in NZ of people advertising on the radio. Good luck with the little one I hope the vets can help her medically and hopefully with a home! Keep us posted!!

Good news!,
shes started to walk, we brought her some tablets and they have helped alot shes a bit cockle but shes so strong willed, and theres 1 foot broke and we are gonna have her operated on, shes about 3 months old ill have to post some pictures of her and my dogs when i can,

That is good news!! Are you keeping her? Good luck with her op, the hardest part is trying to keep a puppy semi quiet to heal properly! :-)

Just caught this post. So sad...it breaks my heart that people can be so cruel to a helpless animal. That's one lucky pup to have been found by you and your boyfriend. Good luck on the surgery and recooperation. Please keep us posted. I'd love to see pics Please.
