Call your local animal shelter ro animal control. The only other sane option would be to adopt it yourself, and that can be costly. It would also be touch and go for quite some time since you know nothing of the dogs history.

I think you should ask someone for a number to get the dog napper van and take the stray do to a animal shelter. There the do will be a little happy. The dog will be fed.One day a person will buy the dog and the dog wont be stray. It will have a owner!

For Heaven's sake! DON'T call the SPCA. Why end the poor dog's life. Notify the police, or a shelter. Most of them try to find a home for strays. Put a message on your local stores message board. I bet his owner is worried...if not, a new owner will " love him to pieces"!.

Well if you don't mind sharing a bit of your dogs food, you could give him his own bowl. But don't just let him run wild, it's not safe for him or the other neighborhood dogs. Call a shelter and perhaps take him into your house, he'd just need a separate room from your other dog but the shelter should come right away.

if it deffinatly stray and is still on the street, catch it and take ot to the animal shelter to get a check up, if it is ok, and you really want to keep it as your pet you can talk to them at the shelter, and they can arange everything and have it vaccinated.
