1. Get him his own cushion, blanket or something else to rest on.2. Leave a bowl of water and some snacks by his new resting spot.3. When you catch him in the act give him a nice bath with flea shampoo - he'll love you for it and it'll help keep your porch clean.4. At that stage you'll be growing more attached to him so put a collar on him so that the dog catchers don't take him away and kill him.What harm can it do? He's resting there when you're not home anyway so you're a good heart for helping this tired and pitiful lonely creature in need of some small comforts. Who knows, maybe you'll have a new best friend - no doubt he'd welcome that!
