If I'm not mistaken, the point is that if we think it's cruel to do that to a dog, why are (some of us) ok with doing it to people? The reactions were hilarious.

I'm not in favor of any kind of torture...any information gotten that way is suspect to the point of being useless and it totally destroys any moral credibility we might have had otherwise. So far our erstwhile 'leaders' have been unable to prove that any such tactics have led to verifiable information that saved anyone...although they claim it often enough in unsubstantiated speeches and conceal the truth under the guise of "national security". Beheading isn't too cool either...but two wrongs don't make paranoid, right-wing, war-mongering, neo-cons right.

it's kinda late to reply I just hope this discussion ended up with your friend..in regards with your question I guess you are right with animals are stronger than people..like bear or snake..the only way we could kill them are by guns or weapons..but when it comes to bush..I dont think I have to agree with you im sorry to say that..

the difference between using waterboarding on humans and animals is that animals dont keep secrets and certainly don't deserve the cruelty. I've seen some humans who deserve worse... it may have just been a troll trying to get the better of us but either way, i hope he doesn't ever lay hands on another dog.

Waterboarding is a form of torture that simulates the feeling of being drowned. You may recall that there has been more than a little controversy over this practice. I don't know whether I'm allowed to say this on this forum but this individual is SICK and needs to be locked up!
