I moved into a very tiny place two years ago...should've been only a summer cottage as during winter it was useless as a home. But when I moved in, the first week, atleast 9 cats came to my door meowing. I guess the previous tenants had been feeding all the cats in the neighborhood and they were breeding like crazy so there were cats EVERYWHERE and they all came to my door. Landlord had the nerve to accuse me of owning them all! I'm allergic to cats! But i did not want them to starve, so I fed them as well...except I did one better than the last people...
I contacted a local vet who brought me out a few traps once a week, and once I caught some of the ferile cats I called the, they came and got them, they fixed them, then released them back in the neighborhood...since they were so wild they would never be pets, but at least it cut the population down!
